About the Charitable Fund
The Charitable Foundation is a fire fighter-based, non-profit organization that focuses on providing opportunities for children recovering from the trauma of burn injuries as well as assisting all citizens affected by a fire and supporting medical professionals in the burn care field. We also focus our efforts on the support of widows and orphans of Denver Fire Fighters and support for Fire Fighters and their families who are experiencing medical or financial hardships.

The Better Halves of DFD exists for all partners of Denver Fire Department members to connect and support each other doing this "fire life."

We depend solely on generous donations from individuals and corporations, fundraising activities, and contributions from our own Denver Fire Fighters through a payroll deduction program.
